With access to physical books a little more limited at this time due to closures, we wanted to remind you that you have the ability to check out/read library books on electronic devices at home. Our school has a collection of picture books, chapter books, and a variety of nonfiction books, as well.

How to access RAA’s eBooks:

1. Visit redlandsacademy.org / Resources / Library Online Student Resources / RAA OPAC – Online Patron Access Catalog

2. Select “Login” (top right corner)

1. Login = first letter of first name + last name (second sibling with same first name initial= first TWO letters of first name + last name)

2. Password = raa (for TK-6th grade) or student i.d. # (for 7th-12th grade)

3. Select “Destiny Discover” (left side of page)

4. Scroll down to bottom of page where it says “eBooks”

5. Click on right side “See All”

A couple of other resources:

-“Storyline Online”: have picture books read aloud by famous public figures. The books are somewhat animated too!

-“Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems” (author of Don’t Let the Pigeon Ride the Bus, Elephant and Piggie, etc.): draw, doodle, and explore new ways of writing by visiting Mo’s studio virtually once a day for the next few weeks. New episodes are posted each weekday at 1:00 p.m. ET and then remain online to be streamed afterwards.
