Family Interview & Student Assessment

Family Interview

Your Family Interview will take place over video conference. Both of the potential student’s guardians should be there as well as someone who can translate if needed. If it is possible for a representative from the family that the student will be staying with here in the states to attend, please do so.

Student Assessment

We utilize iXL for our Student Assessment. As this is an online program, once we set up an account for the potential student, that student is able to take the assessment at any location. For international students, this means that they are able to take this assessment before they are stateside. To take the assessment, students will need the following:

  • An hour and a half to two hours that they can dedicate to the assessment
  • A computer and internet connection
  • A video camera that can connect with Google Meets (the video conferencing platform that we utilize)
  • To make an appointment with a RAA representative that can act as their proctor during the exam.
  • The ability to screenshare on Google Meets

All students taking the assessment will set up an assessment time where they will join a video conference with their proctor. Once they join the video conference, they will be given their iXL code, be guided on how to sign in and share their screen, and will take their assessment. The proctor will ensure the results of the test are accurate.
