Students
We strongly encourage students to become actively involved in a variety of extracurricular and community activities both inside and outside the classroom, whether that is through our athletics and music programs, or through student leadership, clubs, organizations, and community service. Student involvement is crucial not only for student personal growth, but also for fostering life skills. Engaging in these activities teaches students teamwork, leadership, and the ability to identify and pursue fulfilling interests. It helps them learn to contribute positively to their immediate community and beyond. This participation supports our whole-person approach to education that is aimed at developing well-rounded individuals that are prepared for their future, building their character and enhancing their academic journey.

Parents
Parents who would like to be involved in campus activities and the Redlands Adventist Academy community are able to volunteer in the classroom, serving as reading buddies, math tutors or assisting with other projects, directly supporting our teachers and enriching the learning environment. They can also take on the role of room parent if a teacher requests. Our room parents often coordinate class parties and other activities that the teacher needs assistance with. Additionally, parents can chaperone and drive for various field trips, ensuring students have safe and enriching experiences outside the classroom. Participating in career days and other educational or spiritual events on campus is another way that parents can share information with students, help ignite a love of learning and God, and contribute to the spiritual and academic development of RAA’s students.
Beyond these direct interactions with students, parents can join the Home & School Association, which organizes community events and fundraisers, or the Booster Club, which supports our school’s sports program.
However our parents decide to get involved, we appreciate our volunteers, as they not only support the school’s operations, but also help create a connected community.
Community Members
At Redlands Adventist Academy, we warmly welcome community members to get involved and become an integral part of our school family. There are numerous opportunities for you to participate in events open to the public, such as our annual Fall Fair, Winter Gala, and music programs. These events provide a wonderful chance to engage with our students, families, and staff, and to experience the vibrant community spirit that defines our school. Your presence and participation in these events not only enrich the experiences of our students but also strengthen the bonds between our school and the wider community.
In addition to attending events, we invite community members to volunteer at RAA. By completing the volunteer packets, you can contribute your time and talents in various ways. We encourage community members to share their expertise by presenting on topics in classrooms, speaking for chapel services, or participating in Career Day. Volunteers can also assist with school events, help in the classrooms, and support various school activities. Your involvement can provide invaluable insights and inspiration to our students, helping them to see the many possibilities that lie ahead in their educational and career journeys. Together, we can create a supportive and enriching environment for our students to thrive.
