K-12 Application

1: Application

To begin, create an account HERE. You will receive a verification email. This may take a few minutes. Once you have received the verification email, log into your account and select the school year and grade that you would like to apply for. 

Make sure you fill your application out completely and submit all necessary documents. Without all necessary documents and referrals, we will be unable to completely process your application. If you have questions or need assistance with your application, please reach out to admission@redlandsacademy.org or call (909) 793-1000 Option 1.

*Please note that some of these documents can be turned in either at the application or enrollment packet stage, but that they must be turned in prior to your student starting school. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. 

 

Important Update: New Admissions Requirement for 2026-2027

Please be advised that due to updated state regulatory requirements, we have amended our mandatory documentation policy for all incoming students. To ensure the health of our campus community and remain in compliance with these new state mandates, all entering students are now required to submit a completed Oral Assessment Form (Dental Assessment) as a formal part of the admissions process

Kindergarten & 1st Grade

  • An official, up-to-date copy of the student's immunization records
  • Oral Assessment
If your student has attended school before, please include a copy of their:
  • Most recent grade report

International Students

 

International Students

International students will fill out the regular application. They will need to include a few additional documents that they can upload to the application or send to admissions@redlandsacademy.org .

  • Redlands Adventist Academy online application
    • Complete immunization records
    • Physical exam from a professional medical office
    • Oral assessment form from a dental office
    • Translated transcripts for the past two years
    • Standardized testing if available
    • Copy of student’s passport
    • Evidence of financial support - a bank statement in US dollars must be submitted for proof that the expense of tuition can be met
    • Proof of health insurance - students are required to have medical insurance with coverage in the US
    • Guardianship Authorization Form - provided by RAA Admissions

2: Admissions Assessment & Family Interview

Once you submit your application, a family interview and student assessment will be scheduled. You can schedule family interviews and admissions assessments for the same day or different days.

Where do I go for the assessment?

The assessment will be conducted at Redlands Adventist Academy. Your student may be taking the assessment alone or at the same time as a group of other students.

How long does the assessment take?

The iXL assessment can take between 1-2 hours on average.

The Kindergarten assessment takes about one hour.

 

What assessments do you use?

For grades 1-12, we utilize iXL Real-Time Diagnostic to help us get a better understanding of where your child is currently at, specifically in the areas of math and English language arts.

For Kindergarten, we utilize a custom assessment that looks at your student's understanding of things like shapes, colors, patterns, ABCs, 123s, and motor skills. 

What do I need to bring to a family interview?

We would love to meet your family, so please bring yourself, your student or students, any additional paperwork requested of you, and questions that you may have for our administration.

 

What is a family interview?

A family interview is a chance for your family and Redlands Adventist Academy Administration to meet, get to know each other, and ask each other questions. 

3: Application Review & Decision

Following the submission of your application and completion of your Family Interview and Admissions Assessment, your application will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee for official acceptance. When admissions decision is determined, you will receive a letter via email.

 

 

4: Family Portal Set-up & Enrollment Packet

After you receive your acceptance letter, you will receive an email with instructions on how to set up your Family Portal and complete enrollment. The enrollment packet is where you will indicate your tuition plan preferences, which will allow us to create your tuition plan and determine your student's start date. 

5: Financial Clearance & First Payment

After you submit your enrollment packet, you will be notified once your tuition plan is created. You will need to make the first payment in order for your student to begin attending class.
